‘We have to live with this’ Helen Lederer addresses Boris’ Covid rules as Omicron surges
HELEN LEDERER has said "we need to live" with Covid-19 as she discussed her upcoming new show with Proud Embankment with Express.co.uk this month.

Helen Lederer will perform alongside some of the world's greatest cabaret acts from January, if safe to do so. Speaking to Express.co.uk a day after Plan B was enforced this month, the 67-year-old expressed her hopes at being able to return to the stage.

"I have a sense that we will carry on," she spilled after Boris Johnson enforced more restrictions such as compulsory face coverings in indoor settings earlier this month.
Helen was extra cautious during the pandemic as she suffers from asthma.
Now double-jabbed, she admitted she worried less and hoped life would be normal soon.
"It was interesting to see how the whole pandemic evolved in our hearts and minds.

"From the very beginning before the vaccine, that oddness of London just stopping.
"And then you suddenly forget it was like that," she added.
"But, we have to live with this, we have no choice but to live with it and respect it really.
"And really at the end of the day, what else can you do?"
The comedian added that hearing about the Covid cases and deaths, particularly before the vaccines were discovered, was "so sad".
"That was a terrible time and it's still terrible but there is less fear since the vaccine," she added.
Since our chat, the rise in Omicron has spiked across the UK.
The Prime Minister has ruled out any further restrictions before Christmas, but said he will continue to monitor the data.
