Denise Welch shared her delight after the Loose Women presenter's son Matt Healy had reason to celebrate as his 1975 bandmate shared some exciting news.
Denise Welch reacted to Charli XCX's announcement she is engaged to The 1975's drummer George Daniel.
The Loose Women presenter took to X, formerly Twitter, and reposted a heartwarming photo of the couple.
In the romantic snap, George, 33, could be seen dipping singer Charli, 31, while the pair shared a kiss.
In view of 557,000 followers, Denise penned: "So thrilled [three heart emojis]."
Social media users offered congratulatory messages, as one person penned: "Nicest couple ever."
Another echoed: "Best news ever!" while a third commented: "Charli xcx and George Daniel being the best couple to ever exist."
"Beyond happy for them," a fourth remarked.
While another person added: "Beautiful news Denise."
The Boom Clap singer announced the news on Instagram on Tuesday evening, captioning her post: "Charli xcx and george f***ing for life!"
In another picture, Charli showed off her diamond engagement ring in a box between two cups of tea.

The pair first sparked dating rumours in March 2022 when they were spotted holding hands on a stroll through New York City.
Her record label, Atlantic Records, took to Twitter to confirm the news, writing: "Major congratulations to @charli_xcx and George Daniel on their engagement."
The couple were soon congratulated by their celebrity friends, as 1975 frontman Matty Healy wrote: "I cry."
Meanwhile New Rules singer Dua Lipa added: "aaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!!!! LOVE THIS!!! [heart emoji] congratulations lovebirds!!!!!"
Rita Ora said: "How did I just know this was gona happen. Yesssss."(sic)
An insider has told how George got down on one knee and popped the question last week.
The source told The Sun: “Charli and George are head over heels in love.
“Right now it’s just friends and family who know but no one is surprised - everyone thinks they are perfect together.
“It’s far too early to talk about the big day itself but it’s safe to say it will be raucous.”
Charli is currently working on her sixth album - her first since last year’s Crash.
