Amy Dowden will return to our screens as she teaches people to dance following her breast cancer diagnosis forcing her to pull out of Strictly.
Amy Dowden's Dare to Dance teased in trailer
Taking to social media on Thursday she announced that the show will air in March. She shared to her 809,000 Instagram followers that she is so excited for fans to see the upcoming series.
Alongside the trailer, she wrote: “Eeeekkk thank you to everyone who made this possible and our incredible contributors who dared to dance!”. You could see Amy dancing with a string of people as she beamed from ear to ear.
The professional helped them perfect their moves as they performed in front of her. Those featured in the show include a young woman who gave up dancing when she started to lose her sight and subsequently her confidence.
Sadly, the pair had to bring their wedding forward due to a cancer diagnosis – which Amy is all too familiar with.
In the emotional scenes, Amy was empathetic to the couple and offered support.

Nevertheless, Amy said that the show must go on and decided to call on the help of her Strictly Come Dancing family for help.
Stars included professionals Dianne Buswell and Graziano Di Prima, as well as dancer and choreographer Oti Mabuse.
Amy discovered a lump before being diagnosed and has since undergone a mastectomy, chemotherapy, and fertility treatment.
Devastatingly she subsequently missed out on being a competitor in the 2023 series of Strictly.
