Peter Andre shares baby name update three weeks after addressing struggle with wife Emily
Dad-of-five Peter Andre has given fans an update on his newborn daughter's name, three weeks after his wife Emily gave birth.
Peter Andre has admitted that naming their newborn daughter is proving to be a bit of a challenge. The singer and his wife Emily, who is an NHS doctor, are still finding it difficult to agree on a name for their new bundle of joy, three weeks after her birth.
In an update shared with fans, Peter revealed the couple are not any closer to reaching a decision. The 51 year old dad, who recently welcomed his fifth child, acknowledged the urgency of settling on a name due to the looming baby birth registry deadline.
He opened up about their predicament in his OK! Magazine column, before also sharing a sweet moment he had with his newborn while taking his other children to school.
"We are still no closer to a name for our newest bundle of joy! Any time Emily and I talk about it, it just gets put aside.
"Since Emily and I agreed for her to be the one to choose, it seems to have slowed down the process even more."
He added: "She is recovering after all, so I totally get it. We have less than four weeks left before we have to register her.
"I took our baby for a walk in her pram for the first time to drop Millie and Theo at school. It's beautiful to do these things all over again."
Peter Andre has been keeping fans updated on Instagram with photos of his newborn daughter. He recently posted about the sleepless nights that come with having a new baby in the house.
Peter and his wife Emily are already parents to Amelia, 10, and Theo, seven. Peter also has two older children, Junior Andre, 18, and Princess Andre, 16, from his previous marriage to Katie Price.

Earlier this month, Peter introduced his newborn daughter to the world, writing: "Just minutes old......We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family.
"Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy. Baby has been spoilt with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo who are all in love with their new little sister."
He added: "As parents, we couldn't be happier. Thanks to all the doctors, midwives and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton. You were incredible.
"And Emily's parents, whom I adore. You have both been incredible. I'm so happy. Just off to hold her. Thanks everyone for reading."
