Alison Hammond causes outrage as fans fume 'how selfish' after boasting £2k free stay

This Morning’s Alison Hammond has come under fire this week with some of her followers. The ITV star recently had a short stay at a charity wildlife park, which she was kindly gifted.
Taking to Instagram to give people an insight into her experience, Alison put together a small montage of clips. She captioned the short video: “What a lovely stay at @portlympnepark A superb hotel and reserve!
“Staying at the Lyons lodge was a dream and truly unforgettable. Thanks for the invite and looking after me. #gifted.” It’s believed Alison enjoyed the stay with new boyfriend David Putman.
However, some of her followers have been left less than impressed with her being given a free stay at the park. According to the park’s site, their prices start from £1,450, although some of her followers commented that her stay came with a heftier price tag for regular people.
Sharing their fury, @zoe_wilson1985 said: “How can they gift you this when it is a charity organisation yet it is £2000 a night for us normal folk to stay there @alisonhammond55.” Shocked, @nickynoo3409 added: “£1500 a night [sic].”
@lizzie.bennett.94695 saying: “Show off nobody, typical gifted. How selfish why not give to a family in need of a break?”
With @Michelle.squires.771 commenting: “I actually think these places that gift Instagrammers free holidays puts normal people off ever going there.”
However, not all of Alison’s followers seemed to mind her being given a free stay to enjoy.

@Kathleen.hill52 added: “Lucky you, it looks wonderful.”

It’s believed prices for the five-star zoo experience start at a whopping £1,450 a night, which includes a golf buggy to take you around the reserve.
According to The Sun, Alison was seen looking smitten with her new 26-year-old beau, as they were spotted laughing on their buggy ride.
The duo are said to have met last year when the ITV star booked David for massages. Although they started off as friends their relationship is believed to of turned romantic at the end of last year.
Earlier this month, Alison confirmed her new relationship by posting a selfie of her and David smiling together.
A friend of David told The Sun he’s not concerned about their 23-year age gap.
He said: “David is a very quiet, unassuming and thoughtful person who likes to play the guitar. He’s the strong, silent type, not a pushover, but not chatty like Alison.
“In that sense, they’re perfect for each other and to David age is just a number.
“He’s not bothered by fame, he probably didn’t even know who Alison was when they first met."
