six out of ten....

Published: Monday June 25,2007 by judy

I think we have all been aware of this one over the past 10 years. The current Labour regime almost hung out a sign saying 'fill your boots'. The lack of principled behaviour at the top has given the nation, or those who have a leaning towards criminality in the first place, carte blanche to do as they please. Those who have remained honest and worked hard have had little or no reward for their efforts. Decency is something that is no longer rewarded, along with honesty and loyalty, so why should people bother. My husband refers to us, ( me and him), as 'mugs', for refusing to join the 'get as much as you can, while you can and whichever way you can', society. Personally, I prefer a life of honesty because I don't have to look over my shoulder all the time to see who's after me. There are a tremendous amount of people out there now, who regard the law as an ass.......led unfortunately, by those who ought to know better. The disabling of the 'system', ( the breakdown of respect, law and order ), benefits those at the bottom, and in the middle, least. It is sad to say but most of Britain is now scum.
