PFI & 'Value for Money?'

In my humble opnion, PFI has been a disaster for the Taxpayer. 'Prudence' Brown's obsession with PFI at all costs, followed by the discredited NU Labour mantra -- 'Value for Money...' has been exposed long go.

Commercial companies with their Corporate Lawyers, Bankers and Accountants will have seen the Government 'comming' from miles away'. Many of these PFI contracts have tied the Government and Tax Payers money into contracts that will enable those savvy companies to milk millions, if not Billions of Tax Pounds out of the Treasury. Even the report of Cross-Party Select committee will be studiously ignored by Pa McBroon and his Minions.

They will still mutter 'Value for Money, Value for Money' like drunken Parrots until the time they are turfed out. Goodness knows what a mess any incoming Conservative administration will find once the Books ahve been opened to the scrutiny of daylight!

Of course, NU Labour in oppostion will blame the Torys for the messes that they, NU Labour have created!
