Anne Widecome....you of the straight talk, and impartial views ???. Take a note of the replies to your column. Do you see a common factor?. Why is it that the BNP a legitimate political party is denied access to air their views via any part of the media. Whenever you or any other M.P. or ex M.P. appears on a discussion programme on radio/T.V. you state that the BNP are evil . You must look at this discussion page to see the reaction from the public...or hopefully so. Tell all of us what is the worst statement you have heard Nick griffin state, then compare it to the placards paraded down Park Lane with a police escort calling for the death of all who are not Muslim, and the rantings of Abu Hanza who for months held court at Finsbury Park, again with a police escort , to utter the same poison. I have never heard you , or any other politician refer to these militants in the same way as you refer to the BNP. Would you stand idle if it was known that a fireman or teacher was sacked because he/she was a Muslim with extreme views?, or even if they were members of that marxist English hating party the Socialist Workers Party. Do you agree with the sacking of the teacher and fireman who were sacked because they were members of the BNP, a legitimate political party?I would be very surprised to hear you publicly condemn it. You are like all the rest of public figures trapped by the far left hold on public views, you don't want to rock the boat until a few others are brave enough. You haven't got the steel of Enoch Powell , or Nigel Hastilow. They are the brave people who will get us out of this mess, not people like you who are too frightened to speak out your real views, you will say what pleases the Marxist BBC , and nothing will please them more than you stating that the BNP are evil !! The problem here is that 60 million people in this country are governed by 50+ M.P.'s the way they want. If they could do as they were elected to do , and run the country the way the electorate wanted it, we wouldn't be in this mess, and we would still have our own British identity.
