The long wait for a PM visit and Practical Flood Aid

It amazes me how we can afford to supply other countries with weapons and even consider renewing our old nuclear arsenal (apparently our present ones can't kill quickly enough) yet we can't help our own people with basic needs.

No doubt there will be a hose-pipe ban too during this wet drought we're experiencing. A bit more care and common sense in spending money on basic needs instead of modern day problems we never heard about 20 years back would be beneficial to us all.
