To increase conviction rates in such cases ........

Make the sentence for a false accusation of rape identical to that the victim of such an accusation would have served if found guilty of that offence.

Whilst we all agree that this is a heinous crime and perpetrators shoulod be convicted, it is also one of the most missused accusations from ex partners and other vengeful spiteful people.

Rape and false accusations of rape are crimes of an equally serious nature and those making false accusations are aiding and abbetting real rapists to escape justice
