In a few words:

This will never end

The internal stress within our society is now so great, as is apparent from even the exchanges here, that I don’t see how we can carry on this way. These are not normal exchanges of views on politics, the economy or some such, but the very core of our existence as a people in a nation. A nation is simply a collective of people with a common language and culture. When that is broken, nationhood is destroyed and anarchy is near. All this was obvious from the time of the Rushdie affair.

The question is not of immigrants of this or that hue, or different religions, or whether they were born here or not, as Hindus, Sikhs, and others, have no problems here. It is Islam and its canonical texts that require Jihad, to convert the dar ul Harb to dar ul Islam, that is the problem. It is also unrealistic and unjust to ask Muslims to renounce aspects of their religion that are not in keeping with the culture of Britain. So long as this situation remains, our society will be under stress from within, and its fracture will lead to violence and serious civil strife.

In situations such as these, it becomes, as a matter of common humanity to avoid unnecessary bloodshed, to separate the cultures that are in clash. I’m sad to say that we are heading that way.
