The Saudi Clergy hate Valentine's Day too

The Saudi religious police for the prevention of vice and the promotion of virtue have concluded that St. Valentine’s Day encourages relations outside of wedlock. " Sheikh Khaled al-Dossari , a scholar in Islamic Studies and sharia law, told the press “As Muslims we shouldn't celebrate a non-Muslim celebration especially this one that encourages immoral relations between unmarried men and women. The Commission for the prevention of vice and the promotion of virtue raids shops on the eve of Valentine's Day, to ensure that the ban is being carried out.
