Where do we go from here

Thank you Mr McKinstry for writing a forthright article. I think most people who have given any thought to the threat that Islam poses an open society, will be gravely concerned for the future of Britain. It is not the Jizya that is being paid to keep the Muslim population quiet, or the potential suicide bombers in our midst, that is the threat. The real existential threat is that in 50 years or less, the Muslim population will be sufficiently large to form a party, and become a majority in parliament. Shari’a then is not just unavoidable but inevitable.

In this frightful scenario, I hear no one of substance proposing anything. The situation has to be addressed now rather then later, for by then it will be too late. The only answer and way to defeat Islam is to stop the Jihad from progressing in the West. Jihad in this context is one of numbers. And that means to acknowledge that a totalitarian ideology such as Islam and an open society cannot live in peace at the same time and place. Even an open society has to recognise that there are exceptions to tolerance of all.

I hate to write this, but that unfortunately, is the only humane option left if we wish to retain our open and tolerant society.
