Minimum Wage and Everyone is in Poverty!

Published: Tuesday February 26,2008 by jonG

If the minimum wage was to rise to 50%of the average wage, then the majority of the countries workers would then be on the minimum wage themselves.
The minimum wage should be scrapped as it destroys competetiveness in the work place,is it right for someone who has been in a job for dozens of years and trained to do that job then have to work next to someone who has just started work and is unskilled and only taking home probably £30 a week less?.
When the governmen and media rattle on about the average wage being around £26,000 per year, this is false, maybe it is if you are lucky enough to gain a place as a tax payer funded, government employed busy body who produces nothing of tradable value for society!!!,the average wage has plumeted since the introduction of the minimum wage to around £12,000 - £14,000,BECAUSE ALL COMPANIES NOW OFFER THE MINIMUM WAGE AS THE ONLY WAGE!!!,where as before if they wanted sklled workers they had to pay propper wages, this is another con introduced by this socialist government.
By creating a low wage economy, and backing it up with an influx of cheap labour the government makes more and more people dependant on it to help them live....and the more you have to rely on the government...the more control it has over you,the one thing a communist/socialist goernment fears is a population that can think for itself and is financial independant of government!!!!.
