my point was that your assertion that 'none of these people have jobs' was garbage. and it is. those with jobs are the highest number.
your complaint about students is ridiculous, as you have no real complaint, just a skeptical chuckle. which, of course, is not an argument.
'thaose accomanying' are people who are joining family members or have married british people (and upon entry, they have to prove that family members have the resources to look after them, as immigrants, after all, have 'no recourse to public funds')
and yes, there are people looking for work. which is good, because we have a labour shortage, so we need them. and once again, they have no recourse to public funds.
the only thing that is even remotely dodgy are the 100000 that have not given a reason. nonetheless, they have no recourse to public funds either, so they can't 'scrounge on benefits' .
it's simply the fact of the law gargoyle. if you knew what you were talking about, you would know that. until people get residency (which takes three years of living here legally under permit, then the passing of the 'life in the uk' test, as test you would not be able to pass, by the way), to get residency, and therefore have recourse to public funds.
happy now?
