For six long dangerous years

Carried my Identity Card for the war years,cannot remember ever being asked to show it.
ID cards for ordinary people going about their everyday lives doing no harm to anyone but criminals,terrorists released in our midst an d the HRA protects the guilty in many cases, don't they know who we are already ,but do we know people walking about covered in robes from head to toe,no one knows who they might be but ,I forget,it's their human right,thats a point how would anyone check thei ID's if they cannot see them?
Another belly-up?
