Discard old values and the thieves will flourish

I too was brought up in the era Ann describes and in those days we had teacher's and Police and MP's and Prime Ministers who themselves had morals and codes of conduct.
In today's climate (both this and the last tory goverment)all this changed unfortunately for the worse and we have politicians now (Ann excluded of course) with no guts to do what is needed to better the country no morals, and are very much self serving, geedy -seedy individuals who have no concept of how we the public live
