Royal Air Foce?

What is he doing wearing a RAF uniform when he passed out of the army?...Why the Flying Officer rank,and a medal?...For what?....Harry served in a war zone for a few weeks so is entitled to a medal,but Wills?...Perhaps it's for attending all the pubs and clubs in London over a 12 month period!
