menace?

Perhaps not the right choice of headline.
Who- of all you out there pontificating about how yu drive your current symbol of success needs to get where you are going at a speed other than that which will be safe for yourself and those who might be with you, or for those who might indavertantly get in your way while getting there?
Of course rules are made for others and it would seem - certainly not for most you. What makes any of you think you are a good driver. Is a good driver also a safe one?
Let's talk sense here. Ask yourselves the following questions and answer them truthfully without any personal slant:
1. Have you ever speeded?
2, When do you think you are not speeding?
3. Have you ever tested your own ability to drive safely.
4. Do you give a toss whether you drive safely or not?
5. Do you know when another road user is driving safely?
6. If your answer to 5 is 'yes' - what standards do you use?
7. Do you agree there is a problem with speeding? if 'yes' - how would you solve it?
I ask the foregoing because all I read hear is destructive critisism.
It's a bit like the old saying 'everyone is out of step but our George'.
