petrol cost

Published: Wednesday April 30,2008 by Andy_filey

We should not just stand by and let these wallies fleece us dry and we need to find a way of getting the 70p per litre duty reduced. Could keep the fuel as it is and remove the road fund licence with a recompense for truckers.
When I started driving in 1963 my local garage had a notice ‘why not buy £1 worth to avoid waiting for change’. My A30 would not take £1 worth even from empty! [1 week's average wage would buy 120 gallons and today only 80 if you're lucky].Times have changed.
