Fuel Tax is too taxing

Fuel tax should be at a set rate per gallon, not a % of the price. People buy roughly the same amount of petrol per month with a variation if they dive or not when on holiday. So with a set rate the chancellor would know what he is getting and the motorist how much he/she is paying.

Makes sense to me.

Guess that would be too logical for our genius ex-chancellor!
