What slave trade?

'Crack of the whip'? that sounds scary! What does the man mean? I'm sure even he doesn't know. Trouble with spin - it makes everyone dizzy - even those doing the spinning.
What about Mr. Brown's trip to save Africa? How on earth does this gel with promoting a system which will ensure that Continent looses it's most talented people ? (if the old colonial power deems it needs them).
Interesting title that mann has - they really can think them up. The acronym book must be nearly full.
