you don't actually need any real qualifications to become an MP. I would say that's quite apparent.

I can think of no other 'job' (if you can call being an MP, a job); whereby you can turn up when you like (if you like), get practically everything paid for you by a bunch of mugs who've got no say in the matter, get around four to six months a year holiday, vote on your own pay-rises, and be answerable to no-one but yourself.

Oh yes, being an MP is a very cushy little number. You just need to be some self-serving, pole-greasing ladder climber to get where you want to go in the dizzy world of Westminster.

If you possess those qualifications, then the sky's the limit.
