That was said about the Home Office. But it would now apply to the whole of Westminster and Whitehall.
On Wednesday, 23rd. of this month, myself and others, have a meeting at South Norfolk House, Long Stratton, to put before three or four leading members of the District and County Council, an agenda for changing the way Taxation is Levied and collected. This is our agenda, nothing to do with Elected Members.
By changing the way the Employer and the Employee agree to work and be paid, it is a very simple manoeuvre to place all of your income beyond the reach of Central Government. Then the only Taxation that is legally enforceable would be the Local Council Tax.
It is then suggested that Local Democracy in the form of our ancient County system should resurrect the local economy and local Taxation, allowing a small payment to Westminster for a skeleton staff only. Whitehall would be treated in much the same way.
It is my intention that all public services will be funded on a local basis as well. But the eventual aim is to reduce income Tax to a maximum of 10% per cent over a period of three or four years.
With a threshold of £25,000 to remove all low paid individuals from the system.
The welfare State is to be rolled back, and in some cases, rolled up and disposed of.
At this next meeting, 23rd, we will set a date for a Public Meeting, at which we hope to see all eight of Norfolk's MPs.
This idea for change, is still in progress, please post any suggestions. Or go to my homepage.
