Soaring household bills

Published: Tuesday May 13,2008 by Daveyboy

Why is it that we only see Britain having huge fuel and energy bills, while the rest of the EC are not suffering like us, is it only Britain that is unable to reduce the tax burden, even if only to help the families till the economy picks up. Brown and the treasury are reaping unexpected tax income every time fuel price increases. Surely we can freeze any tax and VAT duty on price increases on energy and fuel. Britain really is the poor man of the EC and paying to be so. Cut out the wastage in govt. suspend membership of the EC(or give us the promised referendum) and opt out of the crazy expensive Human Rights Act. The EC are giving no favours to Britain so let us decide our own destiny.
