Unlike your bretheren on here, sometimes you actually make a valid point now and again.

what you say below is quite right. the right tends to reinvelnt the left and vice versa. a decade is a long time to be in power. people invevitably get sick of the way things are being done and look for something new.

it's farily easy for a government to win two elections in a row, but getting up and past four is difficult at best. the only reason the tories managed to stay in power for as long as they did is that labour were excellent at shooting themselves in the foot for ages.
