St George's flag and the police

The shame of it is the fact that a PC told the man to remove the St George's flag from the parcel shelf of his car surprises few people in this country. What I find more annoying is the fact that his idiotic boss i.e. the police CHIEF inspector should come up with the statement that the police take a dim view of motorists blocking the rear view of their cars with parcel shelves at the rear!!!!!!.....I just wonder how this fine upstanding member of the police force ever got to his position..and how many parcel shelves blocking rear view he has witnessed during his illustrious career. It is stupid police leaders like him who lead and destroy any credibility the police had. I thought the car manufacturers made cars with windows in the back so the driver could see. Perhaps the chief inspector could show the car makers their models where the rear shelves block the view.
