LONG LIVE A FREE PRESS

I feel that this website will go from strength to strength. What cheers me especially is the ability to express one's own views which may be (or in my case definitely are!) politically incorrect. The site will I am sure also promote loyalty to the Daily Express and hopefully will enable writers on the paper to get quick feedback on their stories and to gauge public sentiment on a given area of current interest. I do not agree with everything that the Express writes as there is a tendency sometimes to overdramatise headlines. Nevertheless I am with the paper 95% of the time. Most of us more than anything else just want the truth and high quality information so we can make up our own minds on issues of the day. The politicians unfortunately are far more interested in manipulating public opinion so they can perpetuate themselves in power. That is why I am passionately in favour of a free press and why I believe we "have your say" merchants owe the Express an enormous debt of gratitude.
