lunatic drink rules

Published: Monday June 2,2008 by trubbrit1

Having not lived in Britain for 30 years I was not aware that it was legal to drink on public transport, if ever there was a recipe for trouble in ALCOHOL CULTURE! Britain that must rank as LUNACY 101.However I am not surprisd at the drink culture in Britain when soap operas like Eastenders and Coronation street portray Brits as ill mannered idiots who go to the pub at lunch the pub right after work and talk about getting blathered or smashed as an acceptable way of life. THe young people in these mirrors of British daily life are seen as loudmouthed, disobedient, crooked little jerks ,and I must say while visiting my beloved homeland I have been dismayed and disgusted by the behaviour and foul language of some of the kids on the streets. I believe most of the blame for this is the no consequence, poltically correct justice system that exists in the UK to-day. I grew up in England when street justce was a kick up the
A__E and a home where my beloved parents were in tight control and I obeyed and respected them a situation thatseems to be non existent now.I hav lived in the USA for 30 years and GOD knows we have a lunatic fringe here including George(john wayne) Bush with its gun culture but youre just as dead if someone stabs you or beats you to death as is rampant in Britain and I am sad to say I think young people here are more polite and respectful of their elders than is the case in the UK. I love England and would like to spend my last years there, but I honestly am sad to say that I feel safer here, what a sad situation eh?
