that at least one of the corporations being awarded the contract for the ID card scheme is closely linked with the US administration? Michael Laphen, Chairman and CEO of CSC, has just recently been nominated by George Bush to sit as an advisory member on the board of NSTAC, (National Security Telecoms Advisory Committee) in the US. So basically all of our personal details will end up in the hands of the US govt, of that i am in no doubt. If this scheme goes ahead I suggest a total boycott, or even better, feed them dis-information, like the govts done to us all along, and screw the whole system up. I totally believe that if this scheme gets forced on us, we will be carrying the mark of the devil.
