Fuel Tax revolt

You are very slow at the Express. This was Sheik Yamhanni's cry way back in the early 1970's when OPEC doubled the price overnight.
Is it too much for people to grasp that a fixed percentage charge at point of sale of ANYTHING is a sure fire recipe for manipulation by those who benefit from such a thing. The Sub-prime problem may have been caused by greedy speculators and silly bankers but has anyone thought about the contrubution made by Estate Agents. They get their fees by a fixed percentage of selling price. It does not take a Phd. to work out where their preferences as to selling price might lie. So, while you're at it have a crusade about that as well.
