Remember how they used to boast about how much money they made on their house.

The reason house prices were able to climb is because lenders we able to lend the money. The low interest rates have allowed bigger sums to be borrowed.

Rising interest rates should be an ideal situation for the lenders, now they are entitled to even more money than they expected to get back. However I think they are bleeding the animal to death.
