AND ANOTHER THING

When are we going to mechanically re-value the Pound?
With inflation constantly trundling along (destroying everyones savings as it goes) the Pound will soon resemble the old Italian or Turkish Lire.
Remember them?...2000 lire for a loaf of bread.
We should create the New Pound, worth say 10 or 100 old ones.
10 would bring us back to the 1980s and 100 would bring us back to the 1930s.
You might only earn 2000 a year, but a litre of petrol would be 11p, council tax £120 a year etc.
It should not be difficult to do.
I wonder if other advanced civilisations on other planets have all this money trouble.
"We cant invade earth this year, chaps, the budget wont run to it".
