THE EU WAS SUPPOSED TO BE GREAT.

When it was originally formed, the idea was a community overlord to stop future conflict and wars in Europe.
A grand idea.
However, it has soured badly.
The EU is now associated mainly with innefficiency, greed and petty medling, not to mention the giant Brussels European Civil Service, and all its "pigs in the trough" money wasting reputation.
After all, what do they do?
Even when a war did erupt (in Bosnia and Kosovo), the EU was helpless.
Once again it took the Americans to sort it out.
Perhaps all European States should become part of the United States of America.
Much cheaper, much better.
