bin collections

In the Scottish Borders we still have a weekly houselhold bin collection & also a weekly paper & tin & plastic collection which is great. My daughter in Bristol has the most haphazard collections I have ever seen, no other wonder the vermin are becoming so noticeable again. And some people complain about an old lady feeding birds. The councils should be checking their own stupid ways not interfering with collections that have worked well for years
