COURTS HAVE TO DECIDE

Published: Friday June 27,2008 by TrueBlueSpirit

I have little faith in our courts as many of my previous postings show. However, they are all we have where matters are not always clear.

It is not unreasonable that owners should be required to undergo training and for life bans on ownership to be placed on thugs. All dogs, as any other animal, are unpredictable. Dogs can be gentle with children but then detect threats that we do not from strangers and become aggressive. They are not human but if treated with love, care and respect, acknowledging and acting to restrain them with their limited understanding of the human world (and their pack instinct) they make wonderful companions and pets. Those who intentionally ill treat animals or train them to be aggressive should be horse whipped as should thugs who ill treat people.

Owning a dog is about understanding a totally differnt psyche to that of humans. People who cannot be botherred to do this cause the problems for themseslves and others.

It always disgusts me that 'society' is so ready to put a dog down if it even slightly injures someone but has not got the guts to put down semi-human terrorists, serial killers, rapists and child molesters just because they appear superficially human.
