14p a litre off petrol: It can be done

Of course it can be done.

I've just reurned from the US and the people in general there are up in arms at the price increases at the pumps. The price of unleaded has noe gone beyond the $4.00 mark (That's per gallon). making US gas the equivalent of about 45p per litre. And what's more, their tax on purchases (our VAT) stands at 6.5% varying slightly between states.

If they can do it, so can we. It's just that our government is hell bent on skinning us alive at every opportunity.
