NATO HAS KEPT THE PEACE SINCE 1945

The thought of merging British troops into a European Army fills me with abject horror.

The British should never ignore the lessons of history. Manland European countries have been fighting wars amongst themselves for centuries. Anyone who thinks that has changed is taking a very short-term and blinkered view. All we need is a new Mussolini, Hitler or Franco to take over the EU treaty system of "qualified majority voting" and we will suddenly find ourselves out manoevered and out-voted.

I prefer to maintain independence for Great Britain but if push comes to shove, I prefer to put my trust in the USA, I would not trust the French and Germans further than I could throw them.

And don't forget they want Turkey to join too, so maybe we will soon be seeing the rise of the second Ottoman Empire!

Lets's get out of the EU, lets secure our own borders, lets take back our independence.
