There is no real point.

Sorry to be so boringly cynical - again, but utter childishness of many of the directives from the EU have made very disillusioned with the whole idea. And that is seperate from the corruption that is rife, and the sacking of decent people who have tried to reign it in. We here rush to obey everything the EU directs, while other members take on board only what suits them. I know full well I am not even slightly origonal here, all these facts have been upsetting people for many years, but then it gets like this intelligence insulting government we have, we all "know", but the mincer grinds on. We are slaves to democracy, thank gord, so we have to be patient and wait for the big boot to get stuck in. That is something it seems we cannot do to the cursed EU.
