The richer Brits should be ashamed.

"Expatpete60" made some good points. There should be more sensitivity shown by many leaders of all the public and private sectors - no chance. A lot of the credit pain right now is due to the uncontrolled greed of the banking system, allowing unbridled borrowing coupled with a public which would take on a 100% mortgage - that is effectively getting hold of a property at rental prices while retaining capital. Nice work untill the scene inflates and then busts. Sometimes the brains of Britain seem to be just a bit gaga. Greed seems to riule, not common sense or good old character, just like the labour government itself. The answer?. You tell me. I'm a born and bred Englishman, but this country gets more and more alien to me every year.
