And why should you treat a book as "Gospel"?

What is all this "It is written" baloney? It is a book written by man, or several men, to control the masses. There is no book that can guide you through this mortal life, you have to believe in your instincts, what is right and wrong, do as you wish, if it does others no harm.

Don'cha wanna spew when a couple of people stand on your doorstep and start quoting words from a book, written originally in Hebrew, translated to Greek, translated to Latin, translated to French, translated to Welsh, then finally into the Good King Jimmy version in English.
