New Labour.......New STASI

Under this government this country is moving ever closer to the state that East Germany and Eastern Europe were in 20 - 30 years ago,with an ever increasing amount of the public (citizens) being employed by the state to spy and inform on everyone else.

Has anyone else noticed over the last couple of years that in the media (BBC,RADIO,THE GUARDIAN etc) that the public are no longer refered to as "members of the public" but only as "citizens" now......1984 is closer than we think...
