hardly surprising

I wonder if the police were kind enough to let off motorists who were doing a few miles over the speed limit or any other motoring offences? i highly doubt it some how as the motorist is public enemy number one they are far more dangerous than say a paedophile or mugger.

It is shocking that crimes such as rape and paedophillia are being passed off as petty crimes nowadays not so long ago they would have earned you a trip to the gallows. These people should be castrated let alone let off (provided they are guilty beyond doubt).

In defence of the people who had sex with the 13 year old girls it is much harder to tell age nowadays of kids as they look a lot older as they try to dress older and are much taller than previous generations and they can lie to the unsuspecting males that they are above 16. however anyone caught deliberately having sex with kids under the age limit should be met with a severe sentence.

In defence of the police as well their hands are tied with politically correct red tape and have probably arreseted the same people over and over and they always get let off so it must be demoralising and seem pretty pointless.
