Peter, the perfidious pewer

Mendleson is the UN's creature and has, I am convinced, been sent by Brussels to stiffen Brown's resolve not to call an early election. Once the Irish have been bullied, lied to and conned into voting "Yes" to the Lisbon constitution, Brussels amd Mendleson will have no further use for Brown. The yes vote will see the constitution ratified, and Cameron will then wriggle out of his pledge to hold a refendum. We will all them be subjects of a socialist totalitarian state, no more to be the "Land of hope and glory, kingdom of the free". Our freedom will have been sold for politicians' ambitions to be part of a greater picture, and thirty silver euros.
