FREEDOM COMES AT A PRICE

Dr Bari appears to have confused at least two absolutely critical features of Democracy in this rail against Democracy in Britain.
The first is that Freedom of Speech is not synonymous with the right to distort or pervert reality.
The second is his failure to define the precise point in the Nazi tyranny at which Jews and other persecuted persons were invited to vilify the good name of the Fatherland.
This right clearly exists today in Britain - no matter how ill-informed or ill-intentioned the culprit may be.
Unfortunately, his irrational and defamatory outburst will appeal to persons with similarly limited historical knowledge and concepts of the nature of Freedom.
