Is Blair deceiving us over Europe?

If you think lateraly about this issue there might well be another dimension that is being exploited by Blair and Brown.

1) People detest Blair and New Labour for many reasons.
2) New Labour fear a complete rout at the 2009 Elections.
3) Blair is touted as trying to get Britain into Europe via the back door and this inflames the electorate.
4) Brown then comes to the rescue and gives a referendum in which the British People say No !
5) It wouldnt have mattered anyway as there was no real chance of an EU superstate anyway.
6) The people of Britain didnt realise this but because Brown had come to the rescue with the referendum like a knight in shining armour New Labour win the 2009 Election.
7) The people of Gt Britain have been conned yet again.
