Rushdie honour....................

Maggie59 -- It will be you, and ordinary people like you, who become a target of the terrorist threat from Pakistan. Can't we give ourselves a break occasionally and employ a little bit of common sense? Has Salman Rushdie really done enough in this country to warrant a knighthood? I can think of a million more deserving than him. I think this honour has been given out of devilment from a Government whose double standards and hypocrisy is unbelievable. You try criticising Islam, Maggie59, and see how fast this Government starts wagging it's accusatory, politically correct, ignorant finger at you and accusing you of racism.
