Well I’m sorry to appear so cynical, but based upon my own experiences such fund rising makes very little impacts upon Children’s welfare. If such a thing did make a difference, why do we have nearly 4 Millions UK Children suffering horrendous conditions? Furthermore, why does the UK have a rising number of charities and fund raising events? Shouldn’t the Government and its representatives not be accountable and responsible for those suffering?
Here’s is a story about four people, named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important task to be done [ERADICATE UK CHILD POVERTY and STOP OVERCROWDED HOUSING] and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybodys job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody, when Nobody did what Anybody could have. So thousands of UK CHILDREN SUFFER HORRENDOUS, SCANDALOUS and DISPICABLE HOUSING CONDITION, because Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody could be bothered.
The increasing UK Child Poverty is out of control and consecutive Governments have toyed with such issues as mere propaganda. The Media and its reporters should also undertake its own responsibilities of not reporting such Scandal.
Never mind, has time goes by, thousands of children will continue to be exploited and generations will suffer, all because nobody really cares, but would prefer to exploit. Society will pay the price for this current ideology and social scandal.
Bear in mind that those who are trying to change their circumstances have far less opportunities to do now than ever before. E.g. A mother with 3 boys in an overcrowded flat, are not even given any priorities on any housing allocations. Also the same mother would like the father to rejoin the family unit, but the system throws obstacle in the way, so whilst some try to do the right thing, the system does not encourage.
I ask people to look beyond your comfortable surrounding and maybe you will see that the system discourages family units and the system does not help those in need.
We should all be responsible, but shouldn’t the system be responsible and accountable also?
Will any reporters from the Daily Express attempt to make contact with me or those suffering and highlight their story? No, because it’s unfashionable to report such issues nowadays.
