I do not want to get bogged down with this argument about the article clarity.
The main point I think is that due to the many Foreign children speaking English as a second language, in our schools, the native children are being held back in their educational progress.
I suspect the people who disagree with the way the article was written, are the same politically correct types, who continually shout their corner with facts and figures that can be interpreted a hundred ways. This is their main tactic when defending their PC attitudes, never acknowledging the real questions or issue.
I live in the real World!
My granddaughter recently complained to me about when she is put in a learning group with some of the new children, many are her friends she says, and so they should be! But she only used the words 'new children' to emphasize her point. She said, 'when this happens they all talk in their own language to each other and she gets confused?'
This is why I feel so strongly about some of my comments.
