09.07.07, 8:11am
Take some money out of the SIX BILLION of overseas aid Mr.Brown.
Or are foreigners more important than English citizens.
Charity begins at home.

THE LONG WAIT FOR A PM VISIT AND PRACTICAL FLOOD AID
08.07.07, 8:41pm
It amazes me how we can afford to supply other countries with weapons and even consider renewing our old nuclear arsenal (apparently our present ones can't kill quickly enough) yet we can't help our own people with basic needs.
No doubt there will be a hose-pipe ban too during this wet drought we're experiencing. A bit more care and common sense in spending money on basic needs instead of modern day problems we never heard about 20 years back would be beneficial to us all.

COLD-BLOODED CRITTERS BASK ON A ROCK - TRY IT GORDON
08.07.07, 12:57pm
Gordon, it seems, is extremely calculating and cold-blooded when it comes to the welfare of certain constituents. Twenty-one days to visist Hull, says it all!
Needless to say, it is more than coincidence that Gordon’s miserly cuts to flooding programs were cause of this disaster.
You must understand Mr. Brown, it is important that you, at least, try to “warm up” to the constituents, you judge as being of lesser importance.
It is fact; cold-blooded critters bask on a rock, or such, to raise their body’s temperature: give it a try, Gordon; hopefully, it may benefit us all.
